Sun River Canyon, where our lodge is located, is an eastern gateway to the vast Lewis and Clark Forest and the unique Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. The majestic Rocky Mountains suddenly end the otherwise rolling foothill country of eastern Montana. The high rock walls rise up abruptly in majestic grandeur to welcome those who venture into the last of the true mountain wilderness areas.
